Plant Exchange

Plants from members’ gardens and from the public at large are cut and shared free of charge with the public every fall and spring. This highly anticipated and media blitzed public project has been an on-going community service since 1927.

A Master Gardener is on site to identify plants and provide growing tips to those interested.

Also on site are members selling “A Collection of Gardening Notes for the Midlands of South Carolina,” authored by a club member and sold to support projects that embrace the purposes and objectives of The Columbia Garden Club, Garden Club of South Carolina, Inc. and National Garden Clubs. Inc.
